“... breathe !”
2018
If I had to write a simple job description for the work Ed does, it would be this: Ed illuminates and empowers women by capturing their true beauty with light and shadow.
I met Ed and his lovely wife Pam in 2011, while searching for the perfect 1st-year anniversary gift for my husband. I was so energized by the whole experience, I felt a sensation of freedom I never thought was inside of me. It planted a seed that eventually grew into a garden of bold, strong, and courageous life experiences.
Ed was a huge catalyst in opening my eyes to the world. Years passed and, by some cosmic fate, Ed and my paths crossed once again in 2018, during a very difficult time in my life.
Ed needed collaborators to learn the inner workings of his new equipment and workspace.
The images we created in 2018 were of a woman who was traveling a road of trials; stumbling, even crawling at times but always continuing to move forward.
Ed gave me the gift of recognizing my strength. It is written all over my body and he cast the most magnificent light on that quality. For that, I am truly blessed.
I can never thank Ed enough for the gifts he has given me. His art speaks for itself.
The stories are told by the bodies and expressions of the people who step in front of his camera.
Find the freedom in your own heart by allowing the most vulnerable parts of you to breathe!
