“... appreciation for women.”
2013
Ed,
We haven't known each other for very long, but I already feel I have a new life-long friend in you. Before we actually met in person, I was confident from our e-mail and telephone conversations that I could trust you; it has made working with you that much easier.
Not only have I enjoyed creating with you but also as we spend time getting to know one another I feel a sense of comfort in being around you. You have helped me feel at home since I have moved to Charleston just one month ago.
Not only are you an amazingly talented person, your soul and motives are pure. Your appreciation for women, and every aspect of our being, is truly inspiring. I wish every woman could have the chance to work with you, because the rewards are priceless.
We have already been fortunate enough to create on several occasions in a very short amount of time, and I am looking forward to continuing this trend. I believe in you 1000% and when I look at your work, I am overcome with emotion, as it is true passion and admiration that drives you.
I am glad to know you and to have had the privileged to meet several members of your beautiful family. You are blessed to have such a loving and supporting group of individuals in your life.
I look forward to many years of friendship and creation with you. :)
Thank you for being you.
Dommi

2019 Update:
It has been almost 7 years since I met Ed and everything I wrote about him then has only become more true and deep.
I was right, I had found a lifelong friend in him. We keep up in each other’s lives regularly, and his loving support never fails to be there for me. Watching him grow as an artist inspires me to always work towards growing myself.
So in short, working with him creatively all those years back was one of the best decisions of my life.
Ed, thank you my dear friend, for still being you. The trust you build with people to be able to be vulnerable is a special thing to experience.
Love always,
Dommi
