“my dilemma “
I put this together and hope it is okay. You can use all of it, some of it, or none of it. Also, if you want me to write something different, I will. Anything for the guy who makes this old broad look amazing:)
Hope your day has been as fantastic as mine,
I see my body as flawed and imperfect. My husband sees my body as sexy and beautiful. That was my dilemma when deciding whether or not to have nude photos taken. I so feared seeing my imperfections that for years I rebuffed his suggestions that I allow myself to be photographed.
I don’t know what made me decide to finally put my fears aside and investigate giving my husband the gift he had always wanted. I guess I was curious to see the body my husband saw. But I also knew, that at 53 years old, I needed to find a professional photographer who understands how to make a woman look and feel beautiful at any age. That is how I found Ed.
What I liked most about finding Ed is that he adjusted his pace to meet mine. He insisted that we first speak on the phone so I could get a feel for his personality in a totally anonymous way. Next, we met at his studio for an interview. He encouraged me to bring anyone I wanted to in order to feel safe and comfortable.
I fell in love with his studio and was in awe of the beautiful women who decorated his walls. What I noticed most was, that upon close examination, those “flawless” women on his walls were not perfect, but their bodies were captured in such a way that allowed them to look stunning. I was sold! Ed knows how to photograph the female form.
I had planned to do my photo shoot alone and surprise my husband with the photos for an anniversary present. After meeting with Ed and feeling more excited about the process than the product, I changed my mind and surprised my husband the day of the shoot by saying, “come watch your wife having her photos taken in the nude”.
Thrilled is too small a word to describe my husband's reaction! My husband became Ed’s assistant for the afternoon and I think he may have had a better time than I.
The three of us laughed and talked while at the same time we created art. My husband and I felt so comfortable that we scheduled another session and had Ed photograph us together. They are my personal favorites because they show a warm tenderness between two people that only someone with a romantic heart can capture.
I honestly went into this as a gift for my husband, but I have found that I gave myself a greater gift; Ed allowed me to see my true self. I was so proud of how I looked that I asked Ed for the ultimate honor; I asked him to put some of my photos on his website. I wonder if you can pick out the beautiful, sexy, imperfect body that belongs to me!
Have a Fantastic Day,
